10 Health Commandments for Children

 1.  Thou shall not bestow upon a child a nickname related to weight.

 2.  Thou shall allow a child a choice in what they want to eat.

 3.  Thou shall not feed an overweight child a different meal or snack then what the others in the family are eating.

 4.  Thou shall encourage a child to be healthy.

 5.  Thou shall encourage a child to be active.

 6.  Thou shall not compare one child to another.

 7.  Thou shall lead a child by example.

 8.  Thou shall not bribe a child to lose weight.

 9.  Thou shall not equate love and/or acceptance with weight.

 10.  Thou shall not force a child to eat food they do not like.
