On this page you'll find various tools that helped me to reach and maintain my goal weight.  I believe that without these tips I would have been unable to achieve my dream -- long term health and wellness!

What's Helped Me

One of the things I'm asked most often is What's Helped Me.  Throughout my journey to health and wellness, I compiled a list of things that helped me to reach my dream.  Without these tools, I would not have been a success.  Check them out and see if some of them might be able to help you do the same.

Six Top Tips

Here, very briefly, are Six Top Tips.  Consider them the Six Commandments!  You'll find a link on that page that discusses them in depth.

Tools

Even when you have a tool box, it's still wise to have an emergency kit.  Here is a link to your health and wellness emergency kit.  There are some simple tips that will help with struggles and challenges.  Remember, it's important to find motivation to help through those rough times if you want to reach your ultimate goal - health and wellness, long term weight loss and your dreams realized!

Time Saving Tips

Let's face it.  We're all busy.  Working, running children back and forth to school and sporting events, being caregivers for our parents, children or spouse, taking care of a home.  Sometimes it seems that it never ends.  Check out my Time Saving Tips to see if perhaps you can find more time in your day to devote to weight loss and maintenance.  Remember, in order to reach your dreams you need to put yourself first sometimes.  It's okay to be selfish.  If you don't take care of you, how will you ever help take care of anyone else?

10 Minute Workouts

It's not necessary to find 30 minutes in the day to workout.  All you need is ten minutes.  Three times.  Please see my 10 Minute Workouts on how you use your free time -- what little it may be! -- constructively.

Instead of This .... Try This ...

Some substitutions are so subtle that you hardly even notice them.  Especially after giving yourself some time to get used to them.  See Instead of this .... Try This .... to see some that have helped me.
